- cu requests quotes to establish a contract for led street lighting luminaires for a period of twelve (12) months from april 1, 2023 to march 31, 2024, with renewal options, and will require the following conditions. *
1. Deliveries to be made only when released by city utilities (cu) on a cu blanket order release. *
2. The quantities shown are estimates only, based on historical useage, and may be increased or decreased by cu as its needs demand. Cu does not guarantee any minimum or maximum on this request for quotation. Contractors or vendors shall not be entitled to an increase in the contract prices if actual quantities are more or less than the estimated quantities. *
3. Release quantities may be for the entire amount or a partial amount of each item.
4. Vendor agrees to stock each item for delivery within two (2) weeks from date of release. Delivery time is of the essence if delivery of any item is beyond two (2) weeks, cu may opt to procure material goods from another vendor and charge the defaulting vendor with any increase(s) in prices paid. *
5. Prices quoted are to be firm and f.O.B. Delivered to city utilities of springfield, missouri. *
6. This request for quote/proposal will result in a nonexclusive contract to the successful bidder, and cu reserves the right to purchase same or like materials and/or services from other sources as cu deems necessary and appropriate. *
7. City utilities reserves the right to cancel part or all of this agreement by written notice. Cu also reserves the right to add or delete items as cu deems necessary and appropriate. * any and all changes to the contract will be by written change order issued by cu's purchasing department. Renewal option
This contract shall be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of award. City utilities shall have the sole option to extend the contract in one-year increments, or any portion thereof, for a total cumulative period of three (2) additional years.
