Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Education of the City of Chicago invites pre-qualified General Contractors tobid on the project/projects referenced below. Bids must be submitted on the forms issued as part of theBidding Documents. We thank you for your flexibility in this matter. We ask your assistance in making sure your fellow construction vendors are aware of these communications. Any questions can be directed to Jen Ostafinski, Category Manager Jaostafinski@cps.edu Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. Theform of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. This contract issubject to all of the terms and conditions of the General Contracting Services Agreement between theBoard and General Contractor dated as of January 1, 2017. All the schools Main building will undergo a bathroom renovationreplacement, removal of the existing plumbing fixtures, partitions, floor and wall tile. Limited interior improvements associated with bathroom renovation repair work includes the prep and paint, plumbing fixtures, tile, partitions, andmirrors. Contract Period : Contractor to Achieve Preliminary Acceptance By: August 12, 2023 Payment and Performance Bond: 100% of the Base Contract Price A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid price is required.
