Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Naujaat, Nunavut. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline; and for the renovation of a power facility.
The Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC or Corporation) is inviting bidders to provide a tender with respect to the work set out in this Request for Tender (RFT) for supply of materials & equipment and installation of the Remote fuel station, piping system & equipment in Naujaat power plant, Nunavut. The project objective is to provide a safe and spill-free fuel transfer mechanism between the PPD mobile fuel truck and QEC bulk fuel tanks that eliminate environmental and operational safety risks. This objective will be achieved based on the outcome of a Packaged Tendering Process, which will allow the owner (QEC) to compare and select from any of the two (2) scenarios based on the best value for money. Using this Packaged Tendering Process the Bidders must make submissions for both scenarios (1 and 2). a) Scenario #1: Top fill Overfill protection valve system with optional add-ons i.e. Mechanical Level Gauge & High-level alarm system. Refer to P607-5826-M01 series drawings (8 sheets) for details. b) Scenario #2: Tie-in in Existing piping with optional add-ons i.e. Mechanical Level gauge High-level alarm system. Refer to P607-5826-M02 series drawings (8 sheets) for details. Bid values are undisclosed.
