Site work for a civil project in Millsboro, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 13,400 lineal feet of 8PVC gravity sewer main; 7,900 lineal feet of 6PVC gravity sewer laterals, 415 vertical feet of 4diameter sanitary sewer manhole; 110 vertical feet of 5 diameter sanitary sewer manhole and a pump station with duplex submersible grinder pumps with approximately 1,800 lineal feet of 3 force main. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Any Contractor having questions concerning the bid should submit them in writing via email to James Hoageson, P.E. Project Manager, at jhoageson@gmbnet.com no later than 12:00 PM, January 23, 2023. Questions shall include the project name (Long Neck Communities Sewer Expansion) in the subject heading. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of Bid Opening on not less than two (2) calendar days notice by certified delivery, electronic delivery, or facsimile Bidding Documents also may be examined at Sussex County Engineering, Sussex County Administrative Office Building, 3rd Floor, 2 the Circle, Georgetown, Delaware 19947, (302) 855-7718, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
