Site work, paving, new construction, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for the remodel of a 20,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Bella Vista, Arkansas is requesting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing general architectural services, which would include engineering services, for a renovation of space to include fire station living quarters and additional apparatus bays. The current Police Department space will be remodeled to accommodate up to 8,000 sq. ft., consisting of living quarters and day-use area for current central fire station personnel. The engine bays will consist of old and new area square footage up to 7,000 square feet. Current paving around the site will need to be reworked and/or replaced. Project areas will consist of around 20,000 +/- square feet of remodel and new construction. The building sits on about 2-acre parcel located in the clover leaf of US Highway 71 and Arkansas Highway 340. All questions regarding the process should be directed to Fire Chief Stephen R. Statements of qualification shall be qualified to do business and licensed in accordance with all applicable laws of the state and local governments where the project is located. Pursuant to A.C.A. 22-9-203, the City of Bella Vista encourages all qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, the City of Bella Vista encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The City of Bella Vista reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities therein, and all Proposers shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City of Bella Vista for any damage or claim brought by any Proposer because of such rejections, nor shall the Proposers seek any recourse of any kind against the City of Bella Vista because of such rejections. The filing of any Proposal in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Proposer to these conditions. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
