Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals, required to perform the installation of a new effluent recharge area at 56 King Street, including, but not limited to the installation of a precast distribution valve structure, excavation and removal of existing irrigation system, installation of PVC force main piping, installation of infiltration chambers and appurtenances, backfill, valves ,precast structures, installation of irrigation system, surface restoration with sod, The successful bidder will be required to submit CORI forms through the Littleton School Department for all personnel working on the Project site, 56 King St. Littleton, MA 01460, and must maintain a list of approved screened personnel with Owner's representative. All bids for this project are subject to the applicable provisions of the Massachusetts bidding laws, including those found at M.G.L. c. 30, 39M et seq. A bid deposit in an amount equal to 5% of the total amount of the bid will be due with the bid, in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier's check. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids. A payment bond in an amount equal to 50% of the total amount of the bid will be required for the successful bidder. The surety on such bonds shall be a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Owner. LWD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the LWD to do so.
