A. Summary Project Description: The Project consists of all work required for designing, planning, and installing a new, updated video management system (VMS) with detention grade cameras for a unified and expandable solution that will maintain 90 days of video storage with quick and easy access via one VMS platform through a direct relationship of a CCTV vendor. This includes replacing all analog cameras and cameras that are no longer ONVIF compliant at Lane County Jail. B. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). C. Last Request for Substitution Due: 10 days prior to due date of bids.
D. Last Request for Information Due: 6 days prior to due date of bids.
E. Date of Last Addendum Issued: 5 days prior to due date of bids.
G. Only bids submitted via email as noted on the Bid Form will be received.
H. First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Submission Due: Within two hours of bid closing time.
I. Bids May Not Be Withdrawn Until: 60 days after due date.
J. Anticipated Construction Start on Site: TBD
K. Required Substantial Completion Date: Not later than the number of days, provided by Bidder in Section 1.11 of the Bid Form, from the Date of Notice to Proceed.
L. Desired Final Completion Date: Not later than 14 calendar days after Date of Substantial Completion.
M. Final Completion date is critical due to requirements of Owner's operations.
N. The Owner reserves the right to change the schedule or terminate the entire procurement process at any time 2. No paper sets of Bidding Documents will be issued; prospective bidders that have submitted a LCAC Vendor Confidentiality Agreement and attended the mandatory pre-bid conference will be provided with a secure link to view or print the floor plans. The drawing sheets containing floor plans have been redacted due to security measures at the Lane County Jail. The floor plans must be protected; never share the drawing sheets containing floor plans beyond what is absolutely necessary to complete the work. 3. As a courtesy, the County may provide copies of Addenda items (official changes / revisions /updates to the process or documentation) via e-mail to Bidders who attend the Mandatory Pre-bid Conference, but it is important for all Bidders to understand that the Lane County website page for this Request for Bid is the official source for information and that it is the Bidder's responsibility to check the site regularly for updates.
