Passaic County Community College Wanaque Campus-Bathroom Renovations An addendum, if necessary, will be issued on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. If bids are mailed or delivered in person ahead of the due date, the above required envelope may be inserted into a larger envelope for mailing or delivery. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that bids are presented to the College on the date, hour and at the place designated. The College assumes no responsibility for any bids not delivered in person at the time and place designated above, to include mail, overnight courier, or drop-off prior to the bid opening date and time. No bids will be accepted after the hour designated for receipt. Bidders and bids must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 and Chapter 33 of Public Laws of 1977, Affirmative Action registration requirements, N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 as amended for Business Registration Certification(s), and section 22 of P.L. 1971, c198. Restoration of first floor restrooms room # 109, 110, 144, and 142 at Passaic County Community College, Wanaque Campus. The restoration will bring enthusiastic look, and promote energy and water conservation by using high efficiency plumbing fixtures, touch-less plumbing accessories, and motion detector light switches. The new work will include but not be limited to: A. Demolition: 1. Removal of all existing plumbing fixture and accessories. 2. Removal of existing floor and wall tiles down to concrete slab. 3. Removal of existing acoustical ceiling tiles and grids, light fixtures, and HAVC supply and return diffuser. 4. Removal of all restrooms doors and hardware B. New Work: 1. Furnishing and installation of all new plumbing fixtures, plumbing accessories, and connecting all required sanitary, vent and water piping for the four bathrooms. 2. Installation of full height wall tiles with two accent bands, and floor tiles. 3. Installation of new acoustic ceiling tiles and grids, lighting fixtures, as well as smoke detectors. 4. Replacement of the existing HAVC supply and return diffuser and associated metal and flexable ductwork down to main duct truck line. GC will be responsible to tie in new diffusers, ductwork, and wiring conduit to existing. See ceiling plan 5. As part of this bid, the GC will be responsible to verify existing ductwork configuration to determine supply and exhaust locations prior to demolition. Sheet metal shop drawing submissions will be required for review and approval prior to installation of new fan and ductwork. 6. See drawings and project manual for additional Bid information.
