Site work for a detention facility in Salem, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility.

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents. All work must be in compliance with Local Building Code's and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). The new fencing will act as a physical barrier and psychological deterrent against unauthorized trespassing and improve site access control. The new fencing will match existing. Extend existing fence line an additional 3463'. The new fence will be 8' tall, requiring three (3) vehicle gates, one man gate, and Class 3 Barbed Wire, three strands each side. Any questions or issues that may arise regarding the Specifications, the bidding process, and/or the award process shall be directed to the Purchaser/Single Point of Contact. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish electronic copies of the original Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the total amount (100%) of the awarded Contract, executed in favor of the State of Oregon, to ensure faithful performance of the Contract and payment for services and goods.which proposal or bid is made a part of this bond by reference, and Principal is required to furnish bid security in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid pursuant to the procurement document and ORS 279C.365(4) for competitive bidding or 279C.400(5) for competitive proposals. Grade dirt and spread evenly across site,Contractor to provide necessary equipment.,Fencing location is on Oregon State Penitentiary Property and between the Penitentiary and the State Hospital Bldg. See attached drawing, Contractor is responsible for making all arrangements regarding "Call Before You Dig" type of appointments with any service providers, both Public and Private.Obtaining surveys, if required, is the responsibility of the Contractor.Contractor must take their own measurements;ODOC will not be held responsible for mismeasured work. The contractor shall not make any claim to the ODOC for incorrect measures. The State reserves the right to award any or all ALTERNATES listed, and to reject all Bids. Project Start Date: Ten (10) Calendar Days from NOTICE TO PROCEED.Substantial Completion: Sixty (60) Calendar Days from NOTICE TO PROCEED.Final Completion: Ninety (90) Calendar Days from NOTICE TO PROCEED. The following range is a project estimate for bonding purposes:185,000 - 210,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
