The City of Harlan, Iowa seeks pricing for Façade Improvements at Veterans Memorial Auditorium located at 1104 Morningview Drive, Harlan, IA. General description of the improvements include removal/replacement of exterior siding, wall sign replacement, gutters, new awnings, door replacement, concrete and related work. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularity in any bid or to reject any bid which does not comply with this Notice. Modifications to the Notice, including, but not limited to the scope of work / specifications, can be made only by written addendum issued by the City. Selection of the bidder will be made solely by the City/Veterans Memorial Commission on criteria determined by the City/Veterans Memorial Commission. The selected firm will provide a bid that includes costs for all items listed on scope of work / specifications. If there are additional costs the firm plans to charge, these costs are required to be disclosed at the time of this bid. By submitting a bid, the bidder agrees to all of the terms of the Notice, unless exceptions to the Notice are stated by the bidder in its bid. The successful bidder must be willing to enter into a contract with the City for the project, including providing a Certificate of Insurance showing appropriate insurance coverage including comprehensive general liability covering bodily injury and property damage, Workers' Compensation at the statutory limits, and liability covering all equipment and their operators.
