Contractors may purchase additional sets of drawings from Charleston Blueprint at their own expense. Contractors purchasing additional bidding documents are also responsible for obtaining and purchasing copies of any and all addenda, including any shipping or handling costs. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to familiarize the Bidders with bidding requirements and to answer questions regarding the Bidding Documents. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety, in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a 100% Performance and Material Payment Bond in the amount of the bid, as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
