Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility will replace eight stormwater inlets and existing pipe with 10 new inlets, six stormwater structures and approximately 2,080 feet of new stormwater pipe on Vandiver Drive and Sylvan Lane. The new stormwater system would drain to a proposed regional detention basin. Additionally, approximately 1,530 feet of new sanitary sewer pipe would be built to reroute the sanitary sewer out from under the building at 2510 Vandiver Drive. As of May 22, 2025, construction began in January 2025 and is expected to take approximately 18 months to complete. Qualifications must be in a sealed envelope and marked in bold letters RFQUAL 57/2023. No fax or e-mail qualifications shall be accepted. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
