Renovation of an educational facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center intends to procure a qualified contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the ESH L6 BIB CRI Hub project. The estimated construction cost for the CMR Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $2.52 million. The total estimated construction budget including the GMP, in-house construction services, and the Owner's contingency is $4.2 million. The CMR services includes two phases for preconstruction services, as well as preparation and submission of the GMP, which may require multiple bid packages, and complete construction services for the project. It will be the responsibility of the CMR to integrate the design and construction phases, apply skills and knowledge of general contracting, provide value engineering and constructability reviews, develop schedules, prepare detailed project construction estimates, study labor conditions, and in any other way deemed necessary, contribute to the development of the Project during the pre-construction/design phase. 1/20/2023 3:00 PM (ET) Non-Participation Questions/Clarifications Due Questions must be submitted to ebid@nebraska.edu.
