Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Bolton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This Contract is for the replacement of Bridge No. 090140 located on King Street East (Regional Road 9) in Bolton crossing an oxbow to the Humber River immediately east of Humber Lea Road. This Contract shall also include the minor rehabilitation (expansion joint sealant) of Bridge No. 090120 also located on King Street East (Regional Road 9) in Bolton which crosses the Humber River immediately to the east of Old King Road. The scope of work includes the complete removal and disposal of existing Bridge No. 090140 and replacing it with a semi-integral abutment bridge structure founded on spread footings including minor road reconstruction on the bridge approaches. The bidder shall note that the road may be closed for the duration of construction activities. Additionally, the scope shall include the removal, disposal and replacement of the expansion joint sealant on Bridge No. 090120. The bidder shall note that the works shall be completed with the use of flagging and shall not be permitted to close the road to complete the works.
