Service Contract - HVAC Maintenance and Repair Contract for City-owned Buildings Various City of Mobile Facilities A. Cashier's Check drawn on an Alabama bank and made payable to the City of Mobile or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid Amount but in no event more than $10,000, is required to accompany bid. B. Bid Bond shall be valid for a minimum of 60 days from the date of the Bid. The Work shall commence on the date of written Notice to Proceed, issued by the Owner. The term of the Contract shall extend for one (1) year from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The Contract shall be based on time and material cost with the Total Contract Sum not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($300,000.00). The City of Mobile reserves the right to waive irregularities in the Bid and in Bidding, and to reject any or all Bids. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the Service Contract Administrator at least three (3) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
