The work site is located at the Elm Avenue Water Storage Tank. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion the work shown on the Drawings and described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Complete recoating of the Town's 3.0 MG Elm Avenue water storage tank. Base bid includes complete blasting and painting of the interior and pressure washing/spot blasting/overcoating of the exterior. Bid Alternate 1 includes complete blasting and painting of the exterior as opposed to overcoating. Installation of an active cathodic protection system and a submersible mixing system, including electrical feed. Miscellaneous tank improvements such as new ladder safety system, ladder extension, ladder guard, grout repair, and replacement of vent and access hatch. Modifications to the existing altitude valve vault including new butterfly valves, altitude valve, piping, fittings and associated appurtenances. Coordination with three cell carriers during construction.
