The City is seeking Letters of Interest to provide the City of Moline with professional services for stormwater planning and remediation. Professional services will include, but not be limited to surveying, engineering, hydraulic modeling and planning for the production of a document to guide the City's future efforts towards stormwater management, stormwater infrastructure, and water quality improvement practices. 2/17/2023 - Firms selected for interview 2/27/2023 (week of) - Interviews 3/17/2023 - Staff review and selection 3/20/2023 (week of) - Council approval, negotiations and contract execution 9/1/2023 - Draft report due 10/1/2023 - Final report due In the event of a tie, or a need to resolve certain questions or issues related to the evaluation process, oral interviews may be held with those firms. As a result of the interviews and overall evaluation process, the City will identify a preferred firm for the purpose of entering into contract negotiations. Unsuccessful firms will be notified as soon as possible. At this time, the City does not anticipate meeting with firms before the submission deadline. TheCity encourages allfirms doing business with theCity to develop diversified work forces. Additional consideration will be given to firmsthat have made demonstrable and articulated effortsto achieve a more diverse work force. TheCity encourages allfirms doing business with theCity to utilize the local workforce. Extra consideration will be given to firms which show considerable effort to perform the contracted work using local labor, to partner with other local firms, and/or utilize localsubconsultants. Please be aware that it isthe City's policy not to compensate a consultant for any time or expensesincurred during the selection or negotiation process. The consultant's cost to perform the work will not be considered as the City makes its selection, but will factor into the negotiation of scope of work and development of a contract. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
