Painting Projects at Various Construction Sites This project consists of furnishing all required materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and plant to perform all necessary labor for the construction of City of Edmond Painting Projects The work shall be done in accordance with plans and specifications on file in the City Engineers Office. There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting. Questions must be submitted using the online bidding system. The last day to submit questions is January 25 ,2023. Access to these sites will be coordinated through the Engineering Project Manager who can be reached at 405- 359-4749. The City of Edmond Purchasing Department is the only authorized source of bid documents. Documents obtained from any other source may be incomplete. Bids submitted more than ninetysix (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening the bids, as well as bids submitted after the time set for receipt of bids, WILL NOT be considered. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be required of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The bid bond should be submitted online at the time of online bid submission closing date and time. Each bid submitted is a legal offer and when accepted by the City, constitutes a FIRM AND BINDING CONTRACT. The City reserves the right to REJECT ANY or ALL BIDS. The City of Edmond reserves the unconditional right to cancel all or any portion of this project within thirty (30) days from the date of opening of bids, for any reason and at its sole discretion. By submitting a bid for services, the bidder certifies that they, and any proposed subcontractors, are in compliance with 25 O.S. 1313 and participate in the Status Verification System.
