Renovation of a swimming pool in N Wildwood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

For Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool HVAC Equipment Replacement All proposals shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal Form approved for this proposal together with all required documentation and information required by the Terms, Conditions and Bid Specifications. All bids must be clearly addressed, sealed and mailed or delivered to: Patricia A. Feketics, Borough Clerk, 6101 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood Crest, NJ 08260 and should state " JOSEPH VON SAVAGE MEMORIAL POOL HVAC EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT" or similar legend on the outside of the envelope The Borough of Wildwood Crest reserve the right to reject any or all bids if it deems it is in the best public interest to do so, and/or to waive any informality in any bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Public Laws of 1975, Chapter 127, Affirmative Action Requirements, Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq. The Contractor's work includes the demolition and removal of the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool's rooftop dehumidification unit and its associated refrigerant piping, condensate piping and pool water piping, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Demolition shall include all associated pipe, valves, fittings, valves, controls, and appurtenances, etc., serving the equipment intended for removal as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Reclaim refrigerant per EPA regulations and applicable codes. The unit's existing plenum roof curb and associated return air ductwork shall remain. 2 As part of Alternate Bid #1, the Contractor's work shall include the demolition of the rooftop duct heater, portions of the ductwork connected to it, and its associated natural gas piping serving it as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Demolition shall include all associated pipe, valves, fittings, valves, controls, and appurtenances, etc., serving the equipment intended for removal as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. The unit's existing roof curb shall remain. 3 As part of Alternate Bid #2, the Contractor's work shall include the demolition of the existing rooftop dehumidification unit's remote rooftop condensing unit, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Demolition shall include all associated pipe, valves, fittings, valves, controls, and appurtenances, etc., serving the equipment intended for removal as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Reclaim refrigerant per EPA regulations and applicable codes. The unit's existing base rails flashed into the roof shall remain. 4 The Contractor's work shall include the furnishing and the installation of one (1) new rooftop dehumidification unit, and its associated curb adapter, piping, VFD, controls and specified appurtenances and accessories, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Existing curb mounted return air ductwork and rooftop supply air ductwork shall be modified and reinsulated as required. New rooftop refrigerant piping extending from new dehumidification unit to remote rooftop condensing unit shall be furnished, installed, and insulated as specified, and shall include all manufacturer' recommended valves, fittings, devices, appurtenances, etc. Contractor shall remove the existing dehumidification unit's remote controller located in utility room next to locker rooms and replace it with a new unit matching the new dehumidification unit. Contractor shall wire the new remote controller to the new rooftop dehumidification unit. 6 As part of Alternate Bid #1, Contractor shall include the furnishing and the installation of one (1) new rooftop, natural gas-fired duct heater and its associated new gas piping, controls and specified appurtenances and accessories, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Contractor shall be responsible to modify existing rooftop curb and associated ductwork as required. The work shall include the Contractor providing 12-months of service/maintenance for the new unit beginning on the date of the project's Substantial Completion. 7 As part of Alternate Bid #2, Contractor shall include the furnishing and the installation of one (1) new rooftop condensing unit, matched to the new rooftop dehumidification unit, and its associated new piping, controls and specified appurtenances and accessories, as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. Contractor shall be responsible to modify the existing rooftop base rails to accept the new rooftop condensing unit as required. The work shall include the Contractor providing 12-months of service/maintenance for the new unit beginning on the date of the project's Substantial Completion. 8 Miscellaneous related work includes, but is not limited to, the patching and repair of openings resulting from the removal of piping from the building's exterior wall and the demolition and installation of associated electrical work as indicated on the project's Contract Drawings and in the project's Technical Specifications. 9 Contractor shall coordinate with the Borough and turn over to Borough any item shown to be demolished and removed which the Borough may want to keep. 10 Contractor shall be responsible to modify existing rooftop curbs and base rails as necessary to properly support the specified new mechanical units, ductwork, piping, etc. 11 Contractor shall be responsible to patch, seal and insulate all exterior floor, wall and roof openings resulting from this project's demolition and new construction work. 12 All patched and/or repaired wall, ceilings, floors roofs, etc., shall match building's existing finishes.
