As of March 31 the project is strictly a purchase of furniture, not construction. For Milpitas Unified School District (MUSD) Innovation Campus - Phase I and II Furniture Procurement The Milpitas Unified School District is requesting qualified dealers to submit proposal(s) for the MUSD Innovation Campus, Phase I & II Furniture procurement, delivery & installation The District is authorized by Public Contracts Code section 20111 et seq., to purchase of equipment, materials, or supplies to be furnished, sold, or leased to the district," through a fair, competitive selection process (e.g., by using a request for proposal or request for qualification process), which the District is utilizing. The District reserves the right to contract with any Dealer responding to this RFP for all or portions of the Services, assign other duties, and request the successful Dealer(s) to provide other Services to the District. The District further reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity or discrepancy associated to the bid. Dealers that intend to submit a Proposal(s) must be insured and appropriately licensed, to do work in the State of California. Questions regarding this RFP must be received in writing and directed to Kelly Ng, Purchasing/Contracts/Bond Budget Manager, at kng@musd.org on or before 2:00 pm on January 24, 2023. Bidders with questions or comments about this RFP or the Project should not contact any other District representative, Board member, consultant, employee, or person. If a Bidder is found to be in violation of this provision, Milpitas Unified School District reserves the right to disqualify Bidder from further consideration. All materials submitted to the District in response to this RFP shall remain the property of the District.
