The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, incidentals and any permits necessary for the removal of the existing abandoned fuel vent lines for old fuel tanks to the building per MNPCA specifications. This project includes excavating and removing 220 sq. ft. area of concrete, soil, and asphalt, capping the existing vent lines at the tank, provide a soil sample, including testing for contamination of the excavated area, backfill with clean fill material approved by the project supervisor, and pour concrete/asphalt over a 160 sq. ft. area to replace the existing concrete and asphalt to the same thickness as the existing concrete/asphalt that was removed, Vendor supplied. Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection. Please be aware that there are attachments to this event. The vendor is responsible for reviewing all attachments and complying with all requirements to this Event. DNR will be the determining factor if vendor meets specifications. All questions should be directed to the buyer listed in this event. Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State. Per Minn. Stat. 181.723, subd. 1(a), who performs public or private building construction or improvement services must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).
