Wayzata East Middle School 2023 Mechanical Upgrades This project includes ductwork modifications, mechanical equipment, piping, lighting replacement and associated ceiling and roofing work. The Owner requires substantial completion of the project on or before August 18, 2023. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and marked Wayzata EMS 2023 Mechanical Improvements, with the Company name and address of the bidder, and the date and hour of the opening No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to ISD #284 - Wayzata Public Schools in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to award the bid it deems to be in the best interest of the School District. A. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Building Enclosure a. Patching of existing roofing systems of 4 ply built-up, pre-finished metal coping/flashing. 2. Interior Finishes a. Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions. b. Wall finish of paint. c. Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, gypsum board, gypsum board soffits. 3. Mechanical Systems a. Heating including piping and piping insulation. b. Ventilation to include ductwork, duct insulation, chilled water piping. c. Temperature control system updates. 4. Electrical Systems a. Interior lighting. b. Disconnect and reconnect existing systems' devices. 5.
