Amity Regional School District No. 5 invites proposals for ARHS LECTURE HALL REMODEL Amity Regional School District No. 5 reserves the right to waive errors in any proposals, to accept other than the low bidder, and reject any or all proposals at its discretion. The contract period will begin February 15, 2023, and continue to August 18, 2023. Time of Completion A. The bidder proposes and agrees hereby to commence the work of the contract documents on a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed to be issued by the Owner, and shall achieve substantial completion by August 4, 2023, and fully complete by August 18, 2023. B. Substantial completion is defined, at least in part, as beneficial occupancy by the Owner, including functional cooling, seating, power, and life safety services functional. C. Liquidated damages will be assessed at a rate of $750.00 per day for each calendar day that the Certificate of Substantial Completion is delayed beyond the date listed. The job is to be turnkey for Amity; include all piping, roof work, demolition, work, etc in the pricing All work to be done in a workmanlike manner; follow all applicable federal, state, and local codes Successful vendor will be responsible for pulling any necessary permits; check with the Town of Woodbridge, CT building department Vendor is to leave the site clean and free of debris at the end of each work day Bulk disposal is the responsibility of the contractor (Pallets, large amounts of cardboard, debris, etc...)
