Philadelphia gas works (pgw or the company) seeks sealed bids from qualified contractors who wish to install and abandon natural gas main, services and all appurtenances and provide related paving services for one project within the city of philadelphia. This request for quotation (rfq) will result in the award of a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Please see attached rfq documents for more details.As set forth in the Notice of Contract Award, Contractor shall give security for the faithful performance of the Work and for compliance with this Contract in the form of a performance bond, with a surety company approved by PGW, in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of this Contract. In addition, Contractor shall give a payment bond, with a surety company approved by the City, in a sum one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of this Contract, conditioned for the full payment of Subcontractors and others furnishing labor and materials in the performance of this Contract.Question and Request for Clarification Period Thursday January 19,2023 at 12:00 PM **Please note, additional documents may be available to bidders for this solicitation through the owner.
