The Moffat County Commissioners will receive sealed bids on 2023 Cattleguard Iron, as per attached specifications At this time, bids will be turned over to the Road Department for review of any discrepancies. On February 28,2023 in the Office ofthe Moffat County Commissioners at 9:00 o'clock a.m., the Director will present the bid results to the Board ofCounty Commissioners along with his recommendation. The Moffat County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in Bids, and to accept the Bid that is in the best interests of Moffat County. Moffat County has appropriated a certain amount of funds for this bid item and reserves the right to change quantities Moffat County Commissioners and the Moffat County Road Department, hereinafter referred to as "Owner", will not assume any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bids. If the Contractor takes any exceptions to the specifications or must deviate from the requirements, Contractor shall fully state such deviations or exceptions and the reasons for doing so. In addition, a complete explanation of the results ofsuch changes shall be included as a part ofthe Proposal on a special page entitled, "Deviations or Exceptions to Proposal" The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to accept other than the lowest Bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid received. The Owner also reserves the right to reject the Bid if the Bidder fails to submit the data required by the Invitation to Bid, or if the Bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. Discrepancies between words and figures will be resolved in favor of words. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures, and the correct sum thereof, will be resolved in favor of the correct sum. Moffat County reserves the right to negotiate a contract with the selected Bidder. A Moffat County Purchase Order results in a binding contract to purchase per the conditions of this Invitation to Bid. Moffat County reserves the right to accept or reject any portion ofthe bid package.
