York Region District School Board is seeking Proposals for Ongoing Flooring Repairs and Flooring Replacements Service. The objective of this proposal is to establish a partnership with a Contractor or Contractors for Ongoing Flooring Requirements on an as-required basis. This partnership will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs. The Board spends approximately $ 100,000 on ongoing flooring repairs per year and up to $300,000 per year for ongoing flooring replacements. This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee; rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract. Please note: This RFP does not include sports flooring replacements (i.e. wood, rubber, cushioned PVC), but it does include sports flooring for the ongoing repairs portion of the RFP. Note: Any work already assigned and committed for the 2022-2023 school year ending August 31, 2023 will be honoured by YRDSB to the current incumbent of the previous Flooring RFP 18R13.
