Work of this Project includes civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical work. The scope of the Project consists of primarily interior renovation of portions of an existing 76,000 SF building and exterior improvements including the addition of exterior vestibules, parking lot improvements, and a new maintenance building. The work includes but is not limited to: parking lot work, site work, utility connections, metal stud framed gypsum board partitions, insulation, plastic laminate casework, interior finishes, aluminum storefront, glazing, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, door hardware, painting, modifications of existing sprinkler system, security/door access system, electrical and mechanical work and other items per the project drawings and specifications. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to materials, products and supplies found or produced within the State of South Dakota. The Pennington County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein. They also reserve the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as they so determine. The construction value of the current project list is estimated to be between $1,500,000 and $3,500,000 for renovation, repair and upgrades. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
