For the following: RFP #22-06 Network Infrastructure equipment Upgrade. The successful bidder will be required to participate in the Federal E-rate program. The costs specified in this RFP are being submitted to the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the FCC as part of the E-rate Universal Service Fund (USF) discount eligibility. All posting and response procedures must satisfy SLD E-Rate requirements, California State requirements and District requirements. The District will respond at its earliest possible opportunity. Verbal communication by either party with regard to this matter is invalid. The last day for inquiries (questions) in writing to the DISTRICT at eratebids@svusd.org is February 6. 2023, at 5:00 PM IMPLEMENTATION Vendor will provide a scope of work including an implementation project plan for the network switching equipment replacement solution. Vendor will work with District technical staff to fully plan, configure and test existing district equipment, new switching equipment, and the network management solution based on the vendor solution. Vendor will provide an onsite network engineer support resource to District staff during site equipment installation. District technical staff will replace core and edge switching equipment for all sites. Vendor will provide migrated core and edge switching configuration templates all sites based on existing site core and edge switch configuration. Vendor must have at least one (1) manufacturer-certified expert on staff for each manufacturer proposed. Vendor will work with District technical staff to resolve any bandwidth, configuration, performance, and/or solution hand-off issues. Vendor will provide complete documentation, including logical diagrams of configuration; physical and virtual LANs interconnects; IP configuration; access information (management interface, UN/PW); and any other operational details and full documentation.
