Renovation of a multi-residential development in Clayton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
All emailed questions must be received by 12:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, January 19th. No questions or requests for clarifications will be accepted after this time. Responses to questions will be emailed and issued in the form of an addendum and issued by 3:30 PM., Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 (if needed). The issuance of such written responses is the only official method by which interpretation, clarification or additional information will be given by the Town. Only requests answered by formal written responses will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. RIGHT TO REJECT SUBMITTALS The Town reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. This submittals request is neither a contractual offer nor a commitment to purchase services. The Town assumes no contractual obligation as a result of the issuance of this request, the preparation or submission of a bid by a Respondent, the evaluation of statements, or final selection. GENERAL: The Town of Clayton requests lump sum bids from qualified contractors to construct the project in accordance with Attachments 1 through 3 in the bid package. Spinning Mill Lofts is an apartment complex located on Front St in Clayton, NC, next to the post office. The address of the site is 300 Mill St, Clayton, NC 27520. The selected contractor will install all underground facilities throughout the site of the development, as well as making improvements to the overhead facilities leading to the site. The proposed contract time is 90 days from date of notice to proceeed with liquidated damages of $500 per day that will also be included in the final signed agreement
