2. Project Description - Contract No. RPR-23, On-Call Roadway Pavement Restoration Contract - The Work, includes portions of pavement and concrete restoration to roadways within the TRMUA service area at various locations and times throughout the calendar year. TRMUA performs various upgrades/repairs to their utilities throughout the year, and this contract describes the Final Trench Restoration, Sidewalk repair, Curbing repair, etc., as a result of excavations/trenches associated with utility repairs, within the public Right-Of-Ways. Bid Security - In accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21, each Bid shall enclose Bid Security, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's Base Bid plus all alternates, but not in excess of $20,000. Award - Subject to any agreed extension of the period for holding Bids, the Owner will act within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening to award the Contract, reject any or all Bids or take any other appropriate action. The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any non-conformances, readvertise for Bids or withhold the award for any reason the Owner determines.
