The City of Beaumont is requesting bids for furnishing all labor, material, supervision, and equipment to provide and install a new standby generator at the Water Utilities Service Center located at 1350 Langham, Beaumont, Texas 77707. Work shall be in accordance with the technical specifications. This portion of the work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, and the performance of all work required to complete the furnishing and installation of the 180-kW natural gas fueled generator and transfer switch at the Water Utilities Service Center as specified herein. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a) Furnishing and installing a new natural gas fueled standby generator. b) Provide crane to lift the new generator into place. c) Connect natural gas line. Modify as needed. d) Furnish and install all necessary electrical wiring and conduits from new standby generator to new transfer switch and to the existing utility power source. e) Provide and install new 800-amp transfer switch. f) Start-up and test new generator.
