Renovation of an educational facility in Elyria, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of the roof replacement of Elyria Early Childhood Village (excluding the gymnasium) and all work as indicated on the drawings and as specified in the construction manual. Bids are required to be hand delivered to the Treasurer's Office by the date/time indicated above, in a sealed envelope marked "Roof replacement of Elyria Early Childhood Village" along with the contractor's name affixed. No e-mail, faxed or any other form of electronic delivery bid will be accepted. Bids shall include, and bidders shall submit with their bids, bid security in the form of (i) a bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Elyria City School District as obligee for the total amount of the bid, including all add alternates, or (ii) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code 153.54. Last day for RFI's is Jan 20th at 12pm. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9.
