Saving Project...

Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Brossard, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a 29,450-square-foot, two-story above grade, 16-room educational facility; for the renovation of a 22,750-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The scope of work includes the construction of a new wing that will add 16 elementary-level classrooms, bringing their total number to 31. These new classes will be equipped with collaborative spaces and storage areas. The project will also include locker areas and a new teachers' room. The projet also includes a redevelopment of the existing areas allowing to revitalize the library, create a motor skills room, an educational kitchen, a music room as well as a visual arts room. The pre-school education classrooms will be improved to bring them up to standard and add classes with collaborative spaces. In addition to improving the coherence and quality of spaces in the existing building, a revitalization of the schoolyard will also be included in the project. TIMELINE: The project is in a preliminary stage and is included in the 2020-2030 Québec Infrastructure Plan. Preliminary studies and conceptual design are underway at the owner. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling construction will start in 2025 and will be completed by 2027/2028 school year.
