Site work for a civil project in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
SJ Louis Construction of Texas Ltd was awarded this as of 9/18/2023. This project will install approximately 1,550 linear feet of 30-inch sewer pipe, 110 feet of 8-inch sewer pipe, and eliminate two lift stations: #150 and #191. This project includes trenchless installation under a SARA earthen dam and extension of existing sewer main along Hwy 281. This will increase capacity to better serve the area. Construction is planned to begin in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2023. Estimated construction duration is 12 months, and estimated construction cost is $5.8 million. Construction Elements: Installation of approximately 110 LF of 8-inch and 1,550 LF of 30-inch gravity sewer at depths up to 35-ft in limestone rock via opencut and trenchless methods Involves trenchless excavation underneath a SARA earthen dam Elimination of two lift stations Coordination with SARA, CoSA, TXDoT and other stakeholders The design engineer is Pape Dawson Engineers, Inc.
