The District is seeking bids for lit or dark fiber service for their current wide area network (WAN), as detailed more fulling in Section 7, below. Currently the District's WAN is configured as a modified hub and spoke with three primary centers: 1. CRC Data Center Core: 3900 Broadway, Everett, WA 98201 2. Heatherwood MS: 1419 Trillium Blvd. SE Mill Creek, WA 98012 3. Cascade HS: 801 E Casino Rd. Everett, WA 98203 Each of these three sites include fiber between them configured as a ring and supports 9-11 additional sites as described in Attachment B: Current WAN While the District currently has a dark fiber network, they are seeking bids for either a lit fiber or dark fiber replacement. Additional specifications are available in Section 7, in the RFP. For either a lit or dark fiber solution, the District is interested in a contract term of two (2) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year terms.
