Renovation of a mixed-use development in Millington, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to furnish all labor and material for the repairing, re-plastering (white coating), and chemical balancing of three (3) outdoor pools at two (2) locations within the County: 1) Millington Recreational Facility Pool - 165 Sassafras Street, Millington, MD 21651 2) Kent County Community Center (Shallow End) - 11041 Worton Road, Worton, MD 21678 3) Kent County Community Center (Kiddie Pool) - 11041 Worton Road, Worton, MD 21678 February 14, 2023, Tentative Award by County Commissioners. All questions and inquiries regarding the terms of this RFP are due in writing, either by US Postal Service or email (jconner@kentgov.org), by the close of business on January 31st, 2023. Completion Time This project must be completed no later than Friday, May 12th, 2023, and the pools must be filled and balanced by Monday, May 22nd, 2023.
