Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education of the Mason City School District for the Asphalt Overlay and Repair Project located at the Mason High School, 6100 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The probable cost for the total construction contract is $250,000. Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, special tools, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Each proposal shall contain the name of every person interested therein. Each proposal shall meet the regulations of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid amount, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such review as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder submitting a bid for the Project.
