Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

Work included under this contract consists of all site work to suit project preparation, execution, and completion. This includes demolition of existing superstructure Smithtown Bridge Three Lane over Delaware Canal (#450-3517). It will be replaced with a prestressed concrete box beam superstructure with a 10'-6" clear roadway width. Also included is demolition of existing superstructure Smithtown Bridge Four Lane (#450-3555). It will be replaced with a prestressed concrete box beam superstructure with a 10'-6" clear roadway width. Also included is demolition of existing structure Raubsville Culvert (#450-5890). It will be replaced with a steel plate pipe culvert. Replacement at each structure, except for Raubsville Culvert, will also include paving of the approach roadway and associated timber guiderail. Must be electronically prequalifed as Prime Contractor in Category S1. Therefore, the Issuing Office will hold an SDB and VBE Goal Information Session.
