Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 639,400-square-foot, four-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The City of Hamilton requires the services of a General Contractor and Mechanical, Electrical and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Subcontractor with the expertise and experience to provide demolition and construction services for the development of the new Hamilton Transit Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF) Project located at 281 Birch Ave. in the City of Hamilton. This Request for Proposals includes two phases (Phases) and requires two separate and compliant submissions from a Proponent in order to be considered for the award of the Contract. The two Phase are: RFP C13-02-23 Phase One - Technical Proposal (Phase One); and RFP C13-02-23 Phase Two - Costing Proposal (Phase Two) Short-Listed Proponents eligible to submit Proposals to Phase Two for this Request for Proposals have been previously selected in Phase One which closed on February 23, 2023.
