Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bartlett, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Village of Bartlett, Nebraska requests a written proposal to provide Engineering and Consulting Service to assist them with approximately three (3) blocks of concrete street paving on Randolph Street, beginning at 4th Street and running approximately 825 feet to the West. The selected firm will be required to assist the Village with the project including project design, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, bid solicitation and recommendation of contract award, contract administration, construction observation and staking, assessment calculations and public hearing. Selection of a PROJECT ENGINEER will be according to the following criteria: 1. Technical expertise of the firm in connection with the type of services to be provided. 2. Past record of performance of engineering contracts with other clients, including quality of work, timeliness, and cost control. Provide specific examples of similar projects completed in the past five years, along with a contact person and phone number for all projects. 3. Capacity of the firm to perform the work. Include a project team for this project and qualifications of all team members, including references. 4. Familiarity of the firm with the types of requirements applicable to the project and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program guidelines. Provide examples of experience with CDBG-funded projects. 5. Ability to collaborate with Village staff, elected officials, contractors and other participants, including property owners. 6. Proposed project schedule, taking into account the firm s current workload. The proposal that best suits the needs of the Village of Bartlett will be considered. Selection of an engineering firm will be determined by final action of the Bartlett Village Board.
