Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Northport, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project Scope: A. Roadway and Parking Lot construction and overlay for parking lot and traffic circle and shared use path within Sokol Park North. Water improvements for irrigation, storm drainage improvements, curb and curb and gutter additions to existing parking lot, access road/parking lot lighting, landscape and irrigation improvements, and detention pond construction, etc. B. The approximate quantities of said Project are as follows: approximately 34,000 s.y. wearing/overlay layer, 16,000 s.y. binder layers, 1,750 l.f. storm drain (15" - 42"), 200 l.f. water service (2"), 1,200 l.f. 12" ductile iron water main, 24" x 12" tap, water valving, precast headwalls, Detention Pond, 5,000 l.f. curb/curb and gutter, 1,350 s.y. sidewalk, landscape and irrigation improvements, access road/parking lot lighting, etc. C. Time of Construction: From the date stated in the Notice to Proceed, the Project time of construction is 150 consecutive calendar days. Award of the contract will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
