Question Deadline 02/07/2023 at 11:59 PM ET change from to February 9, 2023 at 23:59 local time In general, the rehabilitation program for this building concentrates on the wholesale roof replacement, structural restoration repairs, and localized masonry repairs.
2.In particular, the work includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:
1.1.1.1 The installation and maintenance of hoarding, dust protection, and construction signage around each phase of work as described in Section 01 56 00.
1.1.1.2 Wholesale removal and disposal of existing metal roof assembly including localized wood decking removal as directed by Consultant, eavestrough and downspout removal, chimney removal, antenna removal and supply and installation of new pre-finished metal roofing assembly complete with all flashings, sealants, snowguard, eavestrough and downspout, and accessories.
1.1.1.3 Wholesale removal and disposal of the three (3) existing cupolas. Contractor to measure and document existing cupola's prior to removal to ensure construction of new cupola matches existing configuration. Contractor to install new cupola's, including a new copper roofing assembly complete with all flashings, sealants, copper finials, and accessories.
1.1.1.4 Removal and replacement of deteriorated structural members and localized addition of new structural members.
1.1.1.5 Localized replacement and repointing of limestone walls, along with localized grouting of core of limestone walls.
3.Repair all areas damaged by construction activity; specifically, the contractor shall repair all damage resulting from the construction to the satisfaction of the Consultant including repainting of surfaces in accordance with these specifications which have been damaged.
4.Final cleaning of structure, fixtures, piping, etc., and the disposal all waste products and/ or debris generated by the construction activity as well as any material present in the work area prior to the commencement of the Work. The areas requiring cleaning shall consist of all areas affected by the Work. Question Deadline
