Renovation of a medical facility in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,850-square-foot medical facility.
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization to select a General Contractor for Project E294-00 Vancouver City Centre Healthcare Facility. A newly leased site has been identified at 188 Nelson Street, Vancouver for the Vancouver City Centre Healthcare Facility. It is approximately 10,710 sq. ft. and is situated on the ground floor of the base building. Scopes of work for this interior renovation project includes select demolition, new mechanical infrastructure and equipment, new electrical infrastructure and devices, and new architectural finishes. In addition, equipment and furnishings are required to meet IPAC, IPS, and IMITS standards while addressing space needs for staff to provide clinical services. Change of Use application and Building Permit have been submitted to the City of Vancouver and are undergoing review process. The construction is expected to start on December 5, 2023, with anticipated ready-for-takeover date August 20, 2024. Documents can be obtained from https://fraserhealth.bidsandtenders.ca/
