The Work includes, but is not limited to: Modify existing school entry to include an enclosed and secured entry vestibule. Improve parking lot pavement, striping, concrete sidewalks; and install bollards for security and ADA accessibility. Upgrade existing athletic field and fencing for safety and security. Each contractor's bid of $150,000.00 or more must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. Prevailing Wage: It is the responsibility of the bidder to go online to the L&I electronically to verify they have the most current prevailing wages at time of bid. Apprenticeship Requirement: This Project is estimated to cost one million dollars or more. This Project is subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320.
