Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Orrock Township, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Major Quantities of Work are: Common Excavation/Embankment CY 2,900 Granular Borrow CY 880 Aggregate Base and Shouldering TON 5,600 SP 9.5 & 12.5 Wearing Course Mixture TON 1,300 12"-24" Storm Sewer Pipe / Culverts LF 220 Drainage Structures EA 3 Concrete Curb & Gutter LF 1,400 4" Concrete Walk LF 8,600 Seeding AC 2 Pavement Markings LF 6,200 The bids will be reviewed by the County Engineer and County Attorney for the approval of the bid bond and the results of the review shall be posted within 3 business days at electronically. Review of the bids by the County Engineer and the County Attorney should not be construed as an award of the bid. The final approval of the bid requires action by the County Board. Contact Public Works at 763-765-3300 to obtain the necessary information. The advertisement for this project may also be viewed at the MnDOT State Aid for Local Transportation. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond for at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid (which shall include the bid bond) within 15 days of the scheduled bid submittal date. The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. It is the County's intent to begin construction mid May 2023 and completed by end of June 2023. The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids & waive informalities.
