Demolition, site work, remodeling and addition to a mixed-use development in North Platte, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a swimming pool; for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the remodel of a swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.
Invitation to Submit Proposals: The City of North Platte invites submission of Proposals to provide demonstrated architecture and engineering service experience in pool and water park projects. The current pool facility was built opened in 1951 and remodeled in the 1980's and consists of a bathhouse, outdoor pool with diving well, shallow kids pool and equipment building. The facility is located at 1401 North Jeffers St, North Platte, Nebraska. In 2022, the voters of the City of North Platte approved funding for Cody Pool Remodel and Expansion. The proposed improvements for this facility include: adding another pool that is 0-3.5' deep with fun age appropriate amenities add a splash pad that can be used also when the pool is closed more adventurous water slides a lazy river bathhouse and bathroom remodeling mechanical upgrades access, egress and parking The City of North Platte will select and contract with a consultant for the following objective: Code Pool, Schematic Design, Design, Bid and Build: Full range of architectural and engineering services for the anticipated pool remodel and expansion from preliminary design through construction. Hard Copy shall be marked "RFP for Professional Services for Cody Pool Remodel and Expansion". Applicant shall submit one (1) original and four (4) copies of the proposal must be delivered to the City. A pdf copy of the proposal on electronic media shall be included with the hard copies. Items transmitted by facsimile or electronic methods will not be accepted. Proposal submissions received after this time will be considered non-responsive and will be returned without review. The City of North Platte reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive irregularities or informalities to accept the Proposal it deems most beneficial. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
