Renovation of a mixed-use development in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility.

This project includes: Interior renovations to the existing technical education classrooms and shops and the existing FACS cooking lab. Interior renovations include demolition of existing walls, structural reinforcement, new mechanical and electrical systems, new finishes and cooking lab equipment. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Glenwood City School District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before August 18, 2023. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Project consists of the construction of an interior remodeling of approximately 10,000 sf. a. Building Structure 1) Concrete footings, concrete slabs on grade, steel framing, steel bar joist/deck systems, b. Building Enclosure 1) Exterior wall systems of concrete block and face brick. 2) Aluminum windows, storefront systems and glazing. Galvanized hollow metal doors and frames. 3) Roof patching of single ply EPDM roofing. c. Interior Finishes 1) Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions, concrete block partitions. 2) Floor finishes of VCT, porcelain tile, and sealed concrete. 3) Wall finishes of paint and ceramic tile. 4) Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, gypsum board soffits. 5) Plastic laminate casework, HM doors and frames, wood doors, hardware, glazing, food service equipment, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, markerboards, tackboards, signage, miscellaneous specialties. d. Mechanical Systems 1) Plumbing including, supply and waste piping systems, piping insulation, plumbing fixtures. 2) Heating including piping, piping insulation, boilers, furnaces. 3) Ventilation to include, unit ventilators, fan coils, ductwork, duct insulation. 4) Temperature control system. 3. Electrical Systems 1) Electrical service, switchgear, distribution panels, conduit and wiring. 2) Interior lighting. 3) Low voltage work to include data cabling. 4) Fire alarm. F.
