Central Utilities Plant #5, Air Compressors Replacement and Upgrades located at 915 17th Street South, Birmingham Alabama at which time they will be opened and read. Prime Contractors that are properly licensed for this type of work are required to prequalify in order to bid. Applicants for Prequalification are strongly encouraged to submit applications at the earliest date possible following the first date of advertisement. UAB will review applications as submitted and notify applicants within two (2) working days of submission. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Primarily a maintenance replacement project. Work includes: The replacement of two existing air compressors along with the installation of two additional air compressors. Work also includes, but is not limited to -reference design documents, installation of compressed air piping, installation of power and control wiring and devices, integration of the controls with the existing plant controls, condensate drain piping, and, equipment pad and slab concrete work. All work to be coordinated and performed in an operational chilled water plant.
