The following is a Small Business Reserve Procurements for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Bids must only be made upon latest the blank electronic proposal form (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, unless otherwise stated in the IFB. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00, unless otherwise stated in the IFB.
