Renovation of an educational facility in Olney, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of February 14, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Replace existing cooling tower with new cooling tower. Scope includes but is not limited to all associated demolition of piping, electrical and controls to remove the tower. Scope includes but is not limited to installing the new tower, extending piping, electrical and controls as required for the new tower. Bidders will be required to provide Bid Security of a sum no less than 10 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be a certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 90 days after submission. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act for Richland County. Refer to Section 00 8250 of the project manual. Do not include sales taxes in the bids, as the School District is sales tax exempt. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities in any bid, or to make awards in the bestinterests of the Owner.
